Life is often about perspective. This is something I’ve learned the hard way through lots of experience. We (meaning me too) often process things in a self focused way. For example a lady at the store is rude to me, so I think about the injury it causes me, about my own offense to the behavior, and process it emotionally, but there is another way. If I were to change my perspective and consider that this person is one who God also loves, then maybe instead of acting out of my injured flesh, I can show grace as I have been shown much grace. It may not change the other person’s behavior, but it will keep my own heart in check. We are called to love, and who knows when God may use the love we show to one another to influence someone else. When we lean into the grace God has given, we lean away from our self and allow God to work. Just trust Him.
